I dreamt I was in a large school, teaching Rosa’s group. A guy had to teach the class and needed to put stuff on the content board. It was resembling Bill Wilkinson’s classroom. When the guy finished, I had to fix the content board as it was. Bill came in and saw I was fixing the content board and I needed to get a drill to screw the board supports in. I asked Bill if he could watch the class. The school was huge. As I walked down the hall, I saw many elementary and Jr. High students. Some were running and I said, “Hey! Let’s walk. Waaalk!” Karen Paul also saying the same. Lots of students ran, including in groups, but we got them piped down. There was this teachers lounge in the middle of the hallway. Very comfortable room, teachers were associating, even a bed to rest, and places to sit. I went to lay down for about a couple minutes, got up and went to sit between teachers for about a minute, communicating how people normally do (I guess). I said that teacher lounges should be like this. I went again to find the drill, which I thought the shop was located in the gymnasium and so I walked there. There were many students and a couple of shop teachers I didn’t recognize. They said if I wanted a drill, I’d need to bring the product down and work on it. I remembered the mask I was making, totally forgot about Bill’s content board, but I was set to go back there again. On my way I noticed these elementary students I couldn’t recognize observing and concluding their study in the hallway. Students were going up a stairs, and I came across a girl, probably 8 or 9? She was laying there face down. I asked the girl questions, “Are you okay? Did you accidentally fall?” She didn’t respond right away. I asked “You hungry?” She shook her head. Anything to get a response. I helped her up, finding out I think it was that she wanted to go to class and see her teacher. Another student, maybe her classmate was insistent that I follow her. She took me by the hand, and was in an almost impatient behavior. I could see teachers waiting outside their classrooms,m. First classroom we passed I saw a teacher I thought was Valerie. The students were telling me their teacher’s name, but I can’t remember it. We passed the first classroom that was on the left of us, going to the classroom that was to the right. I met their teacher, introduced myself as a teacher from Kongiganak. They were going to do some wood carving I guess. We were waiting for directions on what to do with them, and getting scrap wood ready. Strange thing happened, a green mist-like vapor of mold started from one of the bowls. The mold in the wood was growing. I started running away from the green smoke of mold. Everyone running in panic, as the green mold started filling up everywhere. I managed to make it outside through an emergency exit. Ran down the street, seeing that that green smoke started deteriorating as it tried to adapt to outside, but I felt safer. It was foggy outside. Then I woke. I was happy that unknown kids and teachers had found acceptance of me in their school.
Dreams often use metaphors and symbols to communicate messages from our subconscious mind. Your dream of being in a large school contains multiple elements worth exploring.
Being in a huge, unfamiliar school suggests a sense of exploring a new phase in life, learning new lessons, or dealing with complex situations. Schools often symbolize learning, growth, order, and preparation, so you may be navigating through significant challenges or transitions in your waking life.
Teaching Rosa's group might indicate a sense of responsibility or leadership you feel towards others. Fixing the content board suggests a need to bring order or clarity to aspects of your life. It might point to a desire to correct or refine aspects of tasks or responsibilities you are handling.
Bill Wilkinson, a familiar figure in your life (or an archetype of authority or mentorship), could symbolize the guidance or approval you are seeking within yourself. Asking him to watch the class could express a wish for support or affirmation in achieving your goals.
The students in the hallways and your efforts to maintain order relate to how you navigate social environments, possibly outside your comfort zone. The presence of a calm and cozy teacher's lounge highlights your need for comfort, rest, and validation among peer-like figures or in your profession.
Your quest for the drill signifies searching for tools or solutions to address unresolved problems. The shop teachers' requirements for you to “bring the product down” might relate to an understanding or acceptance of challenges before addressing them.
This moment points to your nurturing aspect and desire to care for others or perhaps yourself. Helping the girl suggests empathy and your capacity to assist those in different situations, reflecting your inner guidance or responsibilities.
The emergence of the green mold serves as a symbol of anxiety or challenges that might be growing unnoticed in your life. Mold can metaphorically represent underlying issues, fears, or health concerns. Your response of escape and the subsequent sight of it deteriorating outdoors conveys your readiness to face and overcome occurring dilemmas.
Feeling accepted in a strange environment signifies successful adaptation and the building of connections in new areas of life. Ending with feelings of safety aloft speaks to your confidence in handling unexpected or uncontrollable events, buoyed by support from unexpected sources.
Overall, this dream combines elements of authority, guidance, growth, social responsibility, and acceptance. Embrace these themes and see how they apply in daily life, encouraging you to seek balance, self-care, and a strategic approach to solving the complexities you face.
